Probably! We get a lot of lost property and try to get it back to people wherever possible. Go to ‘Contact Us’ and give us a detailed description (just saying ‘black hoodie’ or ‘leather jacket’ isn’t going to cut it after a Saturday night in a rock bar).

Please be aware that due to the quantity of lost belongings, we have to clear out anything we haven’t managed to trace back to its owner after we’ve held it for a month, so please get in contact sooner rather than later.

Old Town Edinburgh is itself a multi-layered matrix of cobbled streets and hidden closes, so GPS locators can be a little misleading and you may find yourself several stories above (or below) where you want to be.

Once you get to the intersection of The Royal Mile and North Bridge, travel down the steep hill between The Inn on the Mile and The Radisson Blu, you’ve found Niddry Street, we’re on your right halfway down.

Karaoke is on every Tuesday and Sunday between 8:00pm – 2:45am. Other nights of the week we host rock and metal gigs, magic shows, science lectures, comedy, and – every Wednesday – Edinburgh’s only full backline open mic.

We don’t do table bookings I’m afraid, if you’re a small party just rock up when you’re ready for a drink.

We don’t have a kitchen (we turned it into a recording studio), so it’s just the usual bar snacks of nuts and crisps, and the more unusual bar snacks of Babybels, Pepperamis, and Popcorn.

We wish it were a marketing gimmick, we really do. So far, the existence of the afterlife or residual energies of any sort has not been scientifically proven, but there’s evidently something going on, and whatever it is, we’re not taking any chances.

From Sunday through to Thursday we open at 7PM, and on Fridays and Saturdays we open at 5PM

We’re open all the way until 3AM every night of the week

I’m afraid we can’t, under any circumstances. Our licence means that absolutely everyone on the premises must be over 18, and anyone that could potentially look as if they are under the age of 25 must, by law, be able to prove their age with a passport or driving licence.

We are unable to accept Young Scots Cards since unfortunately they are still very easy to fake, and we would very much like to not be closed down.
